My name is Matt!

This blog is a place for me to share my adventures with tea, travel, and taste! Don’t be surprised if I share other passions along the way.  I am a certified tea sommelier and I worked with loose leaf tea for a big part of my life.  It is something that I am very passionate about and really connect with.  This blog was born from bringing a gai wan (Chinese lidded cup for preparing and serving tea) on hikes and road trips, and preparing tea in more remote and natural settings.
